*The rates quoted (subject to variation) apply as follows for non-chequebook accounts:
3.75% A.E.R. (3.69% gross p.a.) for credit balances under £250,000; and,
3.00% A.E.R. (2.96% gross p.a.) for credit balances of £250,000 +

A.E.R. stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates the interest rate if paid and compounded each year. Gross p.a. means the yearly rate of interest before income tax deduction, if applicable. Rates are variable. Interest is calculated daily, based on the total balance in your account at the end of each day and is added to your account each month.
